Here are some tips, which will help in using the tutorials successfully.

1. Plotting a trend is the first one to view, to start with. Then combine this with The Ripple Effect-these work well together.

2. For position trading use 4-hour charts and 1-hour chart-those both must agree.

3. Have a portfolio of trades/stocks, up to 5 pairs-no more, 20 for stocks. This will spread the risks. Your performance never relies on one stock/pair.

4. Always have stops wider than you think. The closer they are to your price, the higher chance of a loss.

5. Day trading carries a higher level of risk, if you are new to position trading, then use the profits to day trade-if you wish.

6. Avoid all the "noise". Don't listen to others; chat rooms etc. Everyone will always have a different view. That's how the markets work-for every buyer there's a seller.

7. Divergence is more significant on higher timeframes: Daily more than 4-hour, 4-hour more than 15 minutes.

8. Surf the wave-discover which direction the tide is (trend). You would not go surfing against the waves, would you?
